On a January morning shortly
after Christmas a young family was not
to enjoy their newly received gifts in the coming year but to teach a community a
lesson. A lesson that reminds us we are not exempt from disaster. On that
particular morning as the community was waking up and leaving to begin their
days they were faced with this reminder as they arrived upon the site
of a burning mobile home, trapped within it a twenty-six year old
mother and her two year old son. The Volunteers of the Nassau Oaks Fire
Department and the Community behind it are working hard due to a lesson
hard learned. Please, be a part to stop tragedy in our community from
striking again.
